Meet the owner

Hi, I'm Summer- the heart behind Proverbs and Pastries.

Baking and cooking has always been one of my love languages. I didn't grow up knowing how to turn everyday ingredients into delicious meals and treats, but I had my heart set to learn so I could share my love in a special way with my husband and children. What started as something so simple turned into a house that no one left hungry. 

Over time and through many convictions, God has laid it on my heart to share that love beyond my own home.

Proverbs and Pastries was built on a desire to serve others, to create moments of joy, and glorify God through the work of my hands. My hope is that every bite feels special and made with intention and love- like something made just for you.
